Access after Labour Day

I was just wondering if someone could tell me if the Big Sandy Bay will be open to visitors after Labour Day. I would really appreciate a reply!

Yes, the area is open all year round to the public. During the summer months (operating season) the gatehouse and beach are staffed by Frontenac Township employees and a financial contribution is requested. The rest of the year, you can access the area free of charge (there is a donation box on the gate). Please read the notice on the gatehouse so you are aware of the rules.

The Friends of Big Sandy Bay are always available to lead group tours and to answer questions about the flora and fauna of Big Sandy Bay.
